Precedent Analysis Deliverables

Drawing List:

  • (1) Site Plan – CAD drawing on bond showing topography to use as an underlay, scale: 1/16”=1’-0” (depending on size, still need clean copy of plans to get a better idea of scale)
  • (1) Benesse House & Annex Floor Plan – Pen on mylar; scale: 1/16”=1’-0”
  • (1) Chichu Art Museum Floor Plan – Pen on mylar; scale: 1/16”=1’-0”
  • (1) Building Sections Detail Sheet – Pen on mylar; scale: 1/16”=1’-0”
  • (3) Interior Perspectives – mixed media on drawing paper, pencil, ink, marker, colored pencil
  • (3) Exterior Perspectives – mixed media on drawing paper, pencil, ink, marker, colored pencil

Outline:

A. Introduction to Tadao Ando, his architectural style and intentions at Art Site Naoshima

Questions:

My only question is how close we need to stick to the list of drawings above? I would love to condense the plans onto maybe 2 drawings and have at least one sheet showing sections that relate the buildings to the site, as it is of primary importance. Since I have yet to find detailed drawings of the buildings, I’m just not positive that I will be able to find all of the above. Thanks!
